School!

 After these big kids turned 4 we sent them off to another year of preschool! They are going to a new school this year and for 3 mornings a week instead of 2... so far they are loving it! Here they are on the first day of school... Last year I really meant to make them tote bags for school, but life was busy so they used grocery bags all year (which was totally fine and of course they couldn't have cared less)... This year for their birthday I decided it was time to make them some bags though so that was their hand made gift from mama this go round!

These are some of Max and Neveah's regular playmates... we have AMAZING neighbors and all of the kids play so well together... many times they will bring all of their art stuff out to the sidewalk and just sit there coloring together until dinner or bedtime!

On national "talk like a pirate day" we went to Krispy Kreme to get some free doughnuts! If you talked like a pirate when ordering you got 1 free one each, HOWEVER if you also dressed up like a pirate you got 1 DOZEN free... this was a no brainer! We made eye patches and practiced our pirate speak before going in for the sweet treasure :)

Neveah just looked so cute I couldn't resist these... sorry to Max for not getting equal blog time this post...

 Uncle Johnny came over for a skate boarding lesson with Max and gave Neveah a shot too... the funny thing is that he ended up teaching both of them how to ride their new pedal bikes, needless to say it was a very busy afternoon!
