Just Chillin

We have continued to have am amazing summer with lots of fun quiet days at home & then fun trips with friends mixed in throughout! Uncle Johnny took us to the lake dock for the day... we spent the day floating, boating, eating, and laughing, it was the definition of a great day!

Kids have now become pros at boat driving...

There was of course no fear again when it came to the water... they were stoked to go tubing again this summer!

We literally just floated for many many hours.

And mixed in the occasional raft race.

All of us jumped off the roof and Max kept begging us to let him (don't worry, we didn't, we decided to be responsible parents that day)

Earlier in the summer we celebrated Ella Grace's 1st birthday with a lot of slip n slide... Max was the first kid to dare to try.

One of our days at home doing puzzles together.

I love painting outside with kids... I went to great lengths this day to make it happen, got it all set up and started and thats when the mosquitoes started swarming... literally swarming, I was just smacking the kids to keep them off and running around trying to move everything inside again!

They got a few strokes in...

They worked so hard on their paintings that day so we enjoyed their work for a few weeks on the only wall big enough to hold it.

It was really fun teaching Max and Neveah all about the olympics... we looked at different pictures of sports and talked about how all different countries come to play, then we practiced our cutting & painting by making our own Olympic rings. The kids were super stoked about the Olympics and loooved watching the different events!

Sometimes we get to visit with Great Aunt Janet on Thursday afternoons... that day she came over and did our yoga with us (which I found hilarious)... also let me say, the yoga for kids isn't anything weird... its just balancing and stretching, it was a good thing to do on really hot afternoons that we didn't plan on venturing outside!

We have loooved going to "our pool" aka Uncle Eric & Aunt Crissy's pool.
