Zoo!

Monday we took a super fun field trip to the Richmond Metro Zoo with Sara and Jake. I am not sure if I the kids or Sara and I had more fun. I have not been to a zoo since I'm thinking kindergarten and it is crazy how cool & weird all the animals are! God is so creative. We were able to get so close to all of them... It was so fun watching the kids see all of the animals that they have been learning about in their books. Max's new favorite is the Rhino... he won't stop yelling "RHINO", we still don't know what one says though.

:: We were walking and Max just stopped and wouldn't come see the ostrich... I kept yelling to him to speed up... then I realized that there was a merry go round around the corner that was playing music. He was taking a dance break and I had to go get him because the boy loves to dance and he had no intention of stopping! All the people walking by and laughing at the dancing boy in the path!

Jake was fearless and would just jam his whole hand in the giraffe's mouth...Max and Neveah were both a bit nervous about feeding the giraffes so I had to help... it was really cool and super gross!

Jake is really fast and focused... Max & Neveah were lolly-gagging so he decided to take control!

Neveah was trying to get a closer look at the gigantic turtles.

Soo... things got awkwardly x-rated while we were watching the tigers... we quickly moved on to see the bears!

3 little monkeys watching the monkeys.

The Rhinos (or as Sara taught the kids... the hippos).

We left no one behind.

My favorite pic. of the day...
