There was one exception to that rule and that was baby Jacob... Max was insistent upon Jacob coming to his party because he didn't want him to feel left out (Jacob was not even 2 at this point) He made me call Sommer to ask if Jacob could come and promise her that Max would take care of him while he was at the party... Max has always been so sweet with babies and toddlers so it was so cute that he wanted him there.
We started off the party by making emblems to go on their capes... each person had to create their own super hero and tell about what their powers were!
Just setting the scene for you all now, the whole party we had Hans Zimmer pandora blasting which was hilarious because it made everything so intense! While we were decorating I had a neighbor call letting me know that there had been a sighting of a "bad guy" in the neighborhood and to be careful!
After practicing their flying skills around the yard we were going to have some cupcakes BUUUUT, the cupcakes were no where to be found!!! THEY HAD BEEN STOLEN!!! The Super Heros went to work trying to find the bad guy and the cupcakes...
They decided to look inside the house as well... when we got inside they found that THE PRESENTS WERE NOW MISSING AS WELL!!!! Annnnnndddd.... the bad guy had left BOMBS instead! The Super heroes had to quickly figure out how to disarm the bombs (black balloons), when they were all popped they found a secret message inside.
We were all really lucky that Super Hero Riley had the power to read! We kept watch looking out all the windows and the bad guy was spotted in the back yard... it just wasn't safe to go out unarmed though, so each hero had to get a weapon to help trap the bad guy... (silly string)
He tried to make a run for it, but they were just too fast! He also had a weapon, but there were too many tiny heroes so they overpowered him.
VICTORY!
We found out that the bad guy was really just jealous that he wasn't invited so we invited him to the party and gave him some cupcakes... He felt so bad that he made it up to the heroes by giving them all power rings so they could use them to fight crime... all was well!
Then all the heroes got to pose while flying over our city!
I feel much safer knowing this crew is looking after our neighborhood!
We also had an awesome time with family the next day at their family party... they just wore regular clothes that day... shhh our family doesn't know about their other identities!
