nearing the end of fall...

We got to babysit the new baby cousin a few weeks ago... Max & Veah are really attentive babysitters and were very worried every time Cannen would make even a whining noise. They talk about how much they love him all the time!

Kind of can't get any cuter than this.

This is just something I never want to forget... she is ALWAYS drawing and its just so precious.

We had an exciting visit from our fave police officer the other day! Josh & Brit came to babysit a few weeks ago and since then Max has made several cards for Josh... We know several Josh's so the first time he made him a card I asked if it was for Brit's Josh. His response was "no, its for my friend Josh the police officer." Neveah was hesitant to get near the car, but Max climbed right in and immediately set off the sirens & lights (which took us all by surprise). Thanks Josh for our special visit!

Oh how we love our neighbor Emme!

This is the year that my kids had an opinion about what they wanted to be for Halloween... I had many quirky things in mind, but they were sooo happy with their choices! Neveah changed her mind nearly everyday and then landed on a ballerina... Max was set with Spiderman, but since we don't have any friends with a spiderman costume to borrow he switched gears to Captain America... Thank you Gio for sharing with us! He kept asking everyone to feel his muscles! Max was so stoked about the costume that he slept in it and then wore it all day Saturday (like to the library and grocery store). On Sunday morning I set out their clothes, told them to get ready, and hopped in the shower. Once I was ready I heard Max coming up the stairs yelling that he was all dressed... he was wearing the full costume and was ready to go!

We had a great time at the fall festival with all 4 of the grand parents!

We had a XA Halloween party & these two thought they were pretty funny and were dressed as us... They were truly committed to the characters is... the ankle wrap & tripping all the time and yelling "babe, my ankle"

Also that weekend we got to meet another new addition to our family... My cousin and her husband just adopted this cutie from Korea and we finally got to see him in person!!! Veah and Max were really excited to play with him and I tried to get a good pic of them all, but no one would sit still so I just have a blurry one of Luke... he has the most precious little face!!!! Can't wait til we can see him again!

We had some hurricane days so of course we made them pajama days... this was our hot chocolate tea party... so cozy

Then... actual Halloween finally came and we dressed up again! This is one of my fave pics ever... these crazy kids are getting so old!

We dressed up too... basically a joke to make fun of a friend, but if you know Robby Robinson you should ask him about our costumes :)
