I truly love Valentines Day... not that it has to be some big romantic deal, I just really love that it is all about telling people that you love them and not about gifts or anything crazy. I also love our family traditions during this 2 little week time in February... One of those traditions is that John takes Neveah out on a very special date. He takes her shopping to buy a special dress. This year she came home with a couple... then they went to starbucks for hot chocolate. This year they were able to go to the father daughter banquet at church so after the shopping & starbucks they came home and got dressed up... thats right, John put on a tie!

Meanwhile... half of the pictures didn't come out because Max is our resident photo bomber... he can't handle pictures being taken and him not being in them, perhaps he has been hanging out with Johnny Phan too much, I don't know but he was out of control that night!












While John and Veah went out I had my little man take me out on a date... we went and had thai food (which he ate). He is a gentleman in training, I even had him pull my chair out for me and fold his napkin on his lap. It was great to have some real quality face time with the boy (when he wasn't looking around the restaurant smiling at everyone)
