Christmas pics...

Christmas Eve morning the kids put on me and Adam's old aprons and helped me make Jesus's birthday cake...

Janet continued the tradition of giving the kids stockings filled with goodies on Christmas Eve... it was a good warm up for the morning.

Brian was a little jealous that he doesn't get stockings anymore, but he helped Max anyway.

This pose is for you Lauryn

After Janet's house we went to the Christmas Eve service at church (where the kids did an amazing job paying attention and singing). Before bed on Christmas Eve the kids opened 2 gifts each... their Christmas pjs and an ornament...

Christmas morning the kids woke up and came upstairs to snuggle with us... it was so cozy having all 4 of us just cuddle for a while before getting on with the craziness of the day... Tons of family came over for brunch and as we were still all talking and handing out presents we saw Max doing this repeatedly:

Janet: "Max, what are you doing?"
Max: "I'm practicing!"
He was literally just opening his mouth over and over again pretending to be surprised, I mean, who does that?

They were such cliche crazy kids wearing everything they got while bouncing on these crazy horse bouncy things the whole morning.

Neveah waited patiently for her turn every time, her chillness always amazes me.

Max ran in many many circles while flying in his cape

After naps we headed over to Grandma & Grampy's (so excited they live here now) for another huge meal!

Not a great pic, but I just thought it was so cute how Max sat down to watch his giant cousins do the dishes without being asked... such good role models :)

We had such a great time celebrating Jesus's birthday!

  1. I need to teach her how to do the the secret handshake. Also, my mouth literally dropped at the pictures of them hugging each other. SO ADORABLE AND SWEET.
