last bits of fall

The weather has been so amazing lately and we have been outside enjoying it all the time... the kids helped me plant some bulbs the other day and can't wait to see what pops up in the spring. How do I know they can't wait? Because they ask me every day when the flowers we planted are going to grow. (We also found many worms that day... Max wanted to pick them up & Veah thought they were gross)

Their imaginations have been going wild lately and it is so fun to see and hear them playing with each other. Last week they had a bunch of adventures with their back packs on... they were in the woods and Neveah kept getting lost so Max would lead her home.

We had so much fun at a pre- Thanksgiving meal with some friends. There was a spelling bee competition that night and let the record show that I made it to the final round and John did not!

Enjoying some special treats Mandie left for them. (Neveah is often found wearing an apron)

Where have all the toys gone? Neveah collects everything around the house and puts them in bags, purses, & any other kind of container she can find. I find bags like this all over the place.

Max was wearing his "cape"... a scrap of fabric that he wore just like that all day.

Learning to clean up your own mess is hard. Pic is blurry bc I was trying to be inconspicuous during his punishment for coloring on the floor.

John has been less than thrilled at the product I was turning out with Max's home made hair cuts so we bit the bullet and took him to get his first professional haircut.

Uncle Johnny came over for a skate date the other day. Max opted to ride his bike instead, but fun was had by all.

Happy Birthday Mr. Robinson!

M & N have been doing really well on their balance bikes and rode all the way to the playground last week. Max especially is getting a lot of speed & loves it!
