The kids went to see Dr. Laughlin (the dentist) for the first time and they were amazing!
Normally to avoid freaking anyone out for the first visit they don't use the "big" toothbrush that spins. We had been talking up going to the dentist for a couple of days and what all the tools were so they were stoked. It was unacceptable to Max for them to skip all of that so he asked for all the "big" tools ... truly the dental assistants were blown away at how great they were!
The only problem at the dentist is that Neveah has a loose tooth in front... apparently it should tighten up and be totally fine. Why? you might ask was her tooth loose?
The 4 of us were walking to church a couple of weeks ago and out of no where there was a man on a bike flying right at us. (on the sidewalk). John jumped and shoved the guy off the bike in an effort to keep him from taking us all out, but Neveah was a little bit ahead of the rest of us and he hit the little nugget and she face planted on the pavement. The man flew off the bike as well, it was quite the scene. She was totally fine, but took a while to get over the trauma... she was super tough.
After the incident we went apple picking with the Chi Alpha students... the nugget perked back up to her normal sassy self.
