Daddy explaining the game.
Crazy weather we have been having around here!? In the last month there has been an earthquake and hurricane. The kids were with Honey when the earthquake happened. Neveah & Honey were laying on the floor trying to go to sleep when they started shaking...ie... no nap happened. Max, however stayed quietly sleeping upstairs and later when Honey got him up he said "Honey, I was shakin'" This is ironic because this child calls his Honey upstairs for a thousand different reasons during every naptime and bedtime, yet he didn't feel that an earthquake was a good reason to call her. During the hurricane we were without power for 4 days. We were very fortunate though bc we have a generator so our food was safe. The only damage from the hurricane to the Waglers was yet another delay on the progress of our new house... oh well. We had great weather while the power was out so it really wasn't all that bad... it just added a little to the craziness of our half packed half unpacked lives.
Another reason why as far as we are concerned the hurricane wasn't so bad was because of our gracious hurricane hosts Uncle Eric & Aunt Crissy! Literally not a leaf was out of place in Short Pump so we went and spent a lot of time at their house... I mean they kept feeding us so we were not going anywhere! Of course we took yet another trip to Sweet Frog. (we literally go multiple times every week... its a problem)

We have had some crazy storms since the hurricane too... the kids & Julia watched the rain for a long time the other night and then when she left they ran after her and just played in the downpour!

Last week Max and Neveah got some exciting mail...... from Mrs. Gina!!!!! Their preschool teacher sent them cards saying how excited she was to have them in her class, they were thrilled and kept asking me to read what the card said over and over again!

Horrible picture I know, but its the only one I have of them pulling off one of the chains from our b-day count down. Its hard for them to understand time so a couple weeks ago we made a paper chain count down so they could know how many days they had until their birthday. It was so exciting every morning when they would remember to rip one off!
