Grow

With all of the rain we have been having there has been a lot of talk about how it helps things to grow. A couple weeks ago there was a really big thunderstorm that woke the kids up and they were both instantly screaming. It was so cute because John went in there to explain the thunder and so they now understand that thunder is just God telling us that the rain is coming and we need the rain to make things grow. (I thought that was pretty good on the spot parenting). They were fully satisfied with that answered and have not been afraid of thunder since!

We tried to make some other things grow too... total failure:
Thought those things that you put in water and they grow would be a fun little lesson, but the dollar tree did not provide quality supplies :(


We made a garden out of our fireplace and have been working hard at putting all kinds of flowers in it. (we have given a lot of them away though)... more pictures of our garden when it is complete.


Janet came over for little dose of quality time and they put her straight to work


Many Sat. mornings include dance parties to the Jackson 5 radio station on Pandora. This one stood out as especially fun because Neveah just wanted to dance with her Daddy and it was so precious. Max on the other hand did not want to dance with me bc he wanted to do his own moves (think Elaine dance)

The Millers are officially our cool friends that have the best house to play at... I mean they drove around in a convertible and then the kids had a dance party with a real disco ball. Doesn't get much better than that!
