the wagler nest: "R"/Getaway/Staycation

Last week we celebrated the letter "R"... We made some pet rocks named Roo Roo, Reindeer, Rudolph, and Roonk. We made a special trip to the store for some google eyes. Max carried the rocks everywhere because he said they were watching us.

We also made some rainbows!

John, Justin, & Jordan played in a basketball tournament so we went and cheered with the fam.

We have really needed a getaway so we headed to Williamsburg this week for some quality family time. It was so nice just having the 4 of us without any distractions! We found yet another inflatable place and this one kicked Kangaroo Jack's butt!

The fearless boy ruled the place.

Another bonus for the kids about having Daddy around all day is that he is the provider of all sweet treats... they truly enjoyed being spoiled with desserts.

Got in a little history as well

They really get a kick out of each other and would just start hysterically laughing all week.

Max stands just like someone else I know.

We came home on Thursday to finish out the week with a staycation. The weather has been amazing so we brought out the bikes from uncle Johnny... they have started to get the hang of it!

This morning we went to play putt putt for the first time. Max truly is a natural and played for real. Neveah..... well, the sweet girl really tried for a while and then just wanted to climb on the animals.
