We started out our day by checking our "mail"... there was lots of candy from Grandma & Grampy as well as a bunch of other valentines from people we love. There were some more hearts from John and I that said what we love about them... It was my favorite when they would get so excited and come ask what each heart said. They both remembered what each one said and would show us throughout the day, they were so proud.
To be festive we had heart shaped food all day.
John took Neveah out for a date... so sweet (he is such a good dad). First they went to get pink doughnuts.
Next he took her shopping. He told her to pick out any dress she wanted. She picked 10, so he then lined them up so that she could narrow it down. She was so excited to show me her pink polka dot & blue & white striped dresses (yes, the sucker bought her 2)
To add to John's awesome points, they even stopped to get mama some flowers. (I will also note, that he took the pictures of their date per my request)... love you babe
Max and I also had a date. We went to get slurpees & then to the play ground to go down the slides. John and I had a really fun time spending one on one quality time with the little loves!
Something else exciting happened on Valentines day.... drum roll.... "Manny" & "Other Eric" got engaged!
me: "Max & Neveah, Mandie & Eric are coming over and guess what... they are getting married!"
Max & Neveah (at the same time): "Yeah I know! and a little lamb!!!"
So glad to have a new cousin soon, yay Other Eric!
