Last weekend my cousin Stephen graduated (really weird that he is old enough to do that). We went not only to his party, but 2 others that weekend. I don't know why she does this, but every time we tell Neveah that we are going to a party she does a little shimmy and says (with a slight lisp) "dance".

Stephen's party was at Mary Beth and Flip's house... Max and Neveah were very excited to see the chickens!!! Their great uncle Flip put in a lot of quality time with the 2 of them playing in the extreme heat... Thank you Flip for being the entertainment all day!




Max was in heaven because he loves to chase birds, but gets upset when they fly away... the chickens stayed on the ground for him to chase!

Due to my injury we have spent a lot of time at home lately...


It hasn't been that bad... we have rediscovered and reorganized our basement.


We made a ball pit to spice up the basement a bit... trying to learn colors by throwing different colored balls at mama... I'll let you know when we have some success


We were able to get out and have some fun this weekend though... in between the 2 little heads is Paw playing the drums... they LOVED hearing him play the "dums"

I will mention one sad thing... I was so excited this year because we were going to start our family tradition of picking strawberries together... the very short strawberry season happened to coincide with my broken ankle so alas, we have missed it.
